homebrew - How can I make a private (i.e. not hosted on GitHub) brew tap? -

I want to do a personal brew faucet for homebrew that was not hosted on GitHub. I have tried cloning the Tap's repo in / usr / local / library / taps but do not see anyone working to find out this?

    I am working on the terminal on a shell script after this tutorial SQLAlchemy tutorial.
