Ubuntu Trusty 14.04 guest install on Hyper-V 2012 R2 doesn't have appropriate drivers for LIS? -
I recently created a new fresh gene 2 virtual machine on Hyper-V and the recently released Ubuntu version 14.04 Has installed. / P>
On startup, even on startup, my Windows Server 2012 R2 complains about downlal drivers in Hyper-V events on Hyper-V events
Synthetic Display Driver: Device 'Microsoft Synthetic display controller 'has been loaded' Dev Ubuntu 14.04 Jane 2 ', but there is a separate version from the server Server Version 3.3 Client Edition 3.2 (Virtual Machine ID 9FC171E7-B2C6-4BD2-9FF0-253209B2A69D). The tool will work, but this is an unsupported configuration. This means that until the problem is resolved, technical assistance will not be provided. To fix this problem, upgrade the integration services To upgrade, connect to the virtual machine and insert the Integration Services Setup disk from the Actions menu. (Of course this does not work)
And
Data exchange integration service: The hyper-V data exchange attached to the virtual machine 'Dev Ubuntu 14.04 Jen 2', but version Hyper-V (Virtual Machine ID 9FC171E7-B2C6-4BD2- 9FF0-253209B2A69D) does not match the expected version. Framework version: Conversation (3.0) - Expected (3.0); Message Version: Conversation (4.0) - Expected (5.0) This is an unsupported configuration, this means that until the problem is resolved, technical support will not be provided. To fix this problem, upgrade the integration services To upgrade, connect to the virtual machine and select the Integration Integration Services Setup disk from the Actions menu (similarly, it does not work).
In addition, Hyper-V complains that "Integration Services: Required Update" in the Summary tab with Windows 2012 R2 Hyper-V Manager.
My (obviously) belief was that Linux Integration Services was integrated into the kernel, and thus the Trustee would be compatible with the 2012 R2 Hyper-V services.
How and how to get the package of updated integration services for a 14.04, it is true that the use of my Ubuntu Virtual Machine Hyper-V2R2 R2 is fully supported. ?
Many thanks for your help, Doug Coleman
activate the data exchange Manually:
# sudo install apt-get update # sudo apt-get hv-kvp-daemon-init
To reboot later, start the daemon.
